Refund Policy
Published: September 1, 2026 · Effective: September 15, 2026
This policy explains when and how refunds are issued, and it forms part of our Terms of Service. Billing and refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.
1. There Is No Trial, Because There Is a Free Plan
So there is nothing to cancel before a charge, and no trial that converts into one. You are charged when you choose a paid plan, and not before.
2. Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from your billing settings or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, your access continues until then, and you are not charged again. We do not issue prorated refunds for unused days on a monthly plan, because you can drop back to Free at any point instead.
3. Annual Plans: 30-Day Guarantee
If Harbor is not right for you within the first 30 days of a new annual subscription, write to hello@gethrbr.com and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason.
After 30 days an annual plan is not refundable. You may cancel at any time to stop it renewing, and your access continues to the end of the term you paid for. The guarantee applies to a first annual purchase, not to each renewal of it.
4. Promotional and Negotiated Pricing
Where you hold discounted, design-partner or otherwise negotiated pricing, the terms we agreed with you in writing govern it, and they prevail over this page where they differ.
5. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived. Where such rights apply, they prevail over this page.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Because Harbor gives you access immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that performance begins at once and to acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once it has been fully performed. If you would rather keep the withdrawal period, do not accept that at checkout and tell us, and we will hold the subscription until it has run. Israeli consumers retain their rights under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.
6. When We Refund Outside This Policy
We may issue a refund we do not owe, and generally will, for:
- An extended, documented outage that significantly impaired your use.
- A billing error on our side, including a duplicate or unintended charge.
- A charge for a plan you never used, where you tell us reasonably promptly.
- Anything applicable consumer-protection law requires.
We may decline a refund where the account has breached section 4 of the Terms of Service, or where a refund is being used to obtain the Service repeatedly without paying for it.
7. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@gethrbr.com with the subject “Refund Request” and the email address on the account. We aim to answer within 3 business days. Approved refunds are submitted through Paddle within 5 to 10 business days and returned to your original payment method, and how long the money then takes to appear depends on Paddle and on your bank.
If something has gone wrong with a charge, tell us before you raise a chargeback. A chargeback is slower for you than an email to us, and it may suspend the account while it is open.
8. Changes to This Policy
We will publish any material change here and notify account holders by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. The version in force when you bought is the one that applies to that purchase.
